• Political campaign for gender representation.

We exercise social campaigns for political representation for women by advocating for gender parity targets for political action committees and encourage gender-sensitivre leadership pathways to help bring women into political spheres, we demand all structural and legal obstacles that hinder all women’s participation in politics and decision making to be eliminated and hold those obstructing accountable. During these campaigns, we raise funds to support female candidates in early campaigns.

We Mobilize women who are aspiring for political positions to register for elections, we advocate for the 30% representation quota by forming networks of young men and women and early warning systems to strengthen the capacity of small women’s organization and associations.

• Women political participation

SWEC supports women during federal and member states election for increasing women’s political participation by:

• Helping women from different clans by diversifying the pool of female candidates
• Raising awareness of the importance of women’s leadership and strengthening the skills of women journalists
• Creating special mentoring and tutoring on campaign and election strategies for women candidates from experienced women politicians
• Advocating for the preservation of women’s quota and reserve seats while encouraging more women to compete for the unreserved seats as well
• Organize fundraising events for women to provide financial from businesswomen
• Offer social media training to enhance their digital awareness and communication skills
• Advocate for bills, policies, and strategies that address women’s rights, participation, and effecting issues such as sexual violence.
